This was the letter that got Paula nominated
To NNA,

Paula Sausaofai was one of BNC netball club’s original founding members over 14 years ago. She has been an active player, coach, committee and executive member the entire time.

She played in the open 2HD competition for 10 years, was a Newcastle representative and was a Mayfield Diggers and Souths junior coming through the ranks.

Her role as a coach has varied from under 7’s right through to 2HD and Greater open teams, She has given up countless hours of her own and her families to develop many players within Newcastle’s ranks today.

She has been the Vice president for the past 14 years with BNC in this role she has been apart of extremely large fundraisers to assist people in need in our community,

She has Taken tour groups away to QLD, Sydney and Melbourne, Done specialist training sessions with our junior and senior players, been at every registration day, trials day and carnival our club has entered to or been apart of.

Paula was also a volunteer development coach for Newcastle under 11’s a few years ago and was Newcastle’s stateleague Waratah cup assistant coach in 2013. In this role she drove to Sydney weekly, was at all training sessions and was apart of the pre season games, newcastle opening day and the senior presentation night.

This year Paula has maintained her role with BNC netball club as the Vice President and is the Newcastle Stateleague Administration Officer and managers and liaze’s between all of the exec and team officials.

She does an excellent job in all of her roles and still managers to find the time to balance her family life and her boys with there football. I hope that she is consider for the club merit award.

Off this Paula was acknowledged by the Newcastle AGM for her annual efforts for the passed 14 years and is BNC’s second winner of this Merit award.

Paula also was nominated and has secured a position on Newcastle’s Executive Committee. BNC now officially have a representative and we have a voice.

Where extremely proud of Paula and all that she sacrafices year after year for all of us at BNC. And to be recognized by another committee is an achievement in itself.
